Citizens Oversight Committee for Measure M

It Is All About Our Kids
"Proposition M, a bond measure for the middle schools in Salinas Union High School District, was passed by local voters in March, 2002, under the provisions of Proposition 39, a state constitutional amendment adopted by voters of California in November, 2000. Proposition 39 requires that a Bond Oversight Committee be established to review Measure M bond revenue expenditures and report its findings to the community, as specified in Education Code Section 152378(a). This web site is intended to be one of the vehicles the Committee employs to fulfill its reporting responsibilities."
