Pupil Personnel Services works cooperatively with all our district schools and staff to plan, organize and implement programs and services to serve the behavioral, social and emotional support needs of students in the Salinas Union High School District. We encourage you to browse and click through our links for more information and support.
The Salinas Union High School District (SUHSD) has approved an Intradistrict Transfer policy which allows parents and students to apply for enrollment at any comprehensive school within the District after the Open Enrollment process has ended or if the family has moved outside of the current school’s attendance area and wishes that the student finish the year in their current school.
Students must attend school in their home attendance area unless they apply through Open Enrollment or the Intradistrict process and are approved for enrollment in the requested school. An Intradistrict Transfer is approved for one year only and is non-renewable. If the parent wishes that the student continue at the requested school, an Open Enrollment application must be submitted during the February window.
Parents may wish to call the schools and/or visit and meet with the Principals or their designees if they have any questions. Parents may be required to attend a conference with the Principal of the home school and of the requested school, as approval or denial will be based on recommendations of the Principals.
