The Salinas Union High School District is committed to fostering a culture of equity. Our leadership teams strive to collaborate with students, families, and community members to prioritize important goals and set high expectations for all students. Focusing on equity also involves supporting staff, tailoring practices to meet student needs, and using data to ensure students' social and academic success. This research-based framework evaluates how well our systems function for staff, the effectiveness of our practices for students, and how we use data to make decisions.
SYSTEMS

SYSTEMS

Our systems determine how our schools and programs function. This includes how we staff, train, and coach school teams to support the needs of students. In PBIS, these systems support data based decision making to ensure positive outcomes.
DATA

DATA

Each school generates a wide range of data about students every day. School teams use this data to select, monitor, and evaluate their systems and practices. Making effective and timely decisions with this data is critical to the success of all students.
PRACTICES

PRACTICES

The practices implemented in schools and classrooms at each site determine how well a student is supported behaviorally, socially, emotionally, and academically.
