(Monterey, CA) - Monterey Peninsula College's (MPC) first ever virtual Culinary Challenge was a resounding success. More than 100 students from 18 local schools signed up.

The live event featured polished video workplace tours of four iconic Monterey County hospitality locations including Seventh and Dolores, Blue Aces, Scheid, and Saltwood. In addition, MPC's Chef Jorge gave a crepe cooking demonstration after which students were invited to create their version of the dish. MPC's Hospitality programs were also showcased throughout the event.

The event was expertly facilitated by MPC's Hospitality Instructor Molly Jansen with assistance from the MPC Career Education team. A recording of the event is available by clicking here.
