Board Highlights are summaries of the Board of Trustees (the Board) meetings published by the communications staff and are not intended as documentation. • Student Board Representatives from El Sausal Middle School and Salinas High School presented to the Board, discussing the special events and student achievement in their respective schools during the 2022-2023 school year.

• Thomas Woodland, SUHSD Emergency Planning and School Safety Coordinator, presented an overview of the Emergency Operations Manual that he is working on implementing throughout the district.

• The Board passed and adopted Resolution Number 23-09, which recognizes March 2023 as Women’s History Month.
