Today, we’re thrilled to feature Mr. Brandon Ellsworth, Director of Choirs and Adaptive Music Teacher at North Salinas High School. Mr. Ellsworth has been recognized by the California Music Educators Association (CMEA) with the prestigious Innovations Award. This honor celebrates educators who create and implement innovative practices, ensuring all students receive a top-quality music education.
Mr. Ellsworth earned this award for his groundbreaking curriculum in the Music Appreciation program at North Salinas High. This unique initiative pairs general education students with Life Skills classes, fostering peer mentorship and teaching disability advocacy through the power of music.
