El Puente School Bell Schedule
El Puente School has a block schedule. Each block is 75 minutes. Students are required to come Monday through Friday and attend blocks 1-4 depending on their schedule.
Parents are required to sign a Master Agreement. The student is required to work 5-6 hours per day to be able to complete 30 credits per semester. Parents are responsible to account for time spent with Distance Learning.

Asynchronous No live instruction - Independent work assigned by the teacher . Students determine their schedule based on their personal circumstances.
Synchronous Online live instruction with lessons/classwork assigned by the teacher. The minimun number of live instructional minutes per class is 25 minutes for the month of August and will transition to a minimum of 30 minutes per class starting Septmeber 1st.
Advisory A period of time when certificated staff meet "live" with a group of students for the purpose of connectedness as per Senate Bill 98 (SB-98).
Intervention and Teachers will meet with a targeted group of students based on formative assessment results. Counselors, Designated Staff, Supports and Community Partners will provide social-emotional and/or behavioral supports.
Office Hours Teachers and counselors will inform student/parents how they can schedule a meeting, either during their office hours as noted in the syllabus, or the hour following the end of the school day.
