    COLLEGE FUTURES SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE CLASS OF 2022

    College Futures Scholarship

     

    College Futures is a new approach designed to help students in Monterey County achieve their educational goals. It offers students an opportunity to be awarded a $4,000 scholarship.

    The College Futures Scholarship is open to all NSHS seniors and is a financial need-based scholarship

    Scholarship Requirements:

    Attend all 3 mandatory virtual workshops and complete the application:

    If students are unable to attend a workshop but still want to be considered, they must contact javandrade@csumb.edu

    FAFSA
    Electronically submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  All students interested in financial aid for college will need to complete this form.
     
    Required by many private college/universities to determine eligibility for non-government financial aid, such as the institution's own grants, scholarship, etc.

    Provides financial aid to California students pursuing higher education.  Grants offered include Cal Grant and the Dream Act grant.
    The California Dream Act Application is used to determine the California state financial eligibility of students who meet the qualifications of Assembly Bill 540 (AB 540), AB 130 and AB 131.
