Welcome to LPMS Athletics

  • At La Paz Middle School, we have various sports that we offer throughout the school year. Each student must meet all of the eligibility requirements prior to participating.

    • Fall Sports: Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Volleyball, and Co-Ed Cross Country
    • Winter Sports: Boys’ Basketball and Girls’ Basketball
    • Spring Sports: Co-Ed Wrestling, Co-Ed Track & Field, and Girls’ Soccer, Boys Volleyball

     

    Sportsmanship is our #1 priority at La Paz Middle School.  We follow the six pillars of good character which include:

    Our coaches and student athletes will respect the integrity and judgment of all officials. We expect the fans to do the same. Cheer positively for your team and acknowledge special plays for both teams. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and respecting the game!

     Updated information:

    The La Paz Middle School Athletic Club supports all 12 sports at LPMS.  This club is student run and is organized by the school’s Athletic Director.  To help support athletics at LPMS the club sells a Panther Pride membership for $10 which gets you into all home games for free.  Memberships can be purchased during schedule pick up day at LPMS or the first two weeks of school @ the student store.  Get involved and have fun!

     

    The Fall Drug-Free Contract is Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 6:00 pm virtually. More details to  come. All NEW Student Athletes must attend.  Official fall practice begins Monday, August 29, 2022. Times TBA  

    The Winter Drug-Free Contract is Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm virtually. More details to  come. All NEW Student Athletes must attend.  Official winter practice begins Monday, November 7, 2022. Times TBA

    The Spring Drug-Free Contract is Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6:00 pm virtually. More details to  come. All NEW Student Athletes must attend.  Official spring practice begins Monday, February 14, 2023. Times TBA

    7th AND 8th graders must attend ONE Drug-free contract signing in your two years of middle school. The athlete AND parent/guardian must be on time and present for the entire meeting. The meeting you attend must take place PRIOR to the start of your sport.
