Tracy Filice brings a lifelong commitment to education and the Salinas community to his service on the Salinas Union High School District Board of Trustees. A career educator, Trustee Filice followed in his father's footsteps, with both dedicating their professional lives to serving students in the Salinas Union High School District. That family legacy has shaped his belief in the transformative power of public education and continues to guide his work as a trustee.
Drawing on his experience in education, Trustee Filice understands the important role that students, families, educators, and support staff play in creating successful schools. He values collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and ensuring that district decisions reflect what is best for students while supporting the dedicated professionals who serve them each day.
Trustee Filice believes schools are at the heart of strong communities and is committed to helping provide educational opportunities that prepare every student for success in college, career, and life.
Outside of his Board service, Tracy enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly water skiing and other activities that allow him to appreciate the natural beauty of the Central Coast.
