Jorge Rojas brings a lifelong appreciation for the value of hard work, education, and service to his role on the Salinas Union High School District Board of Trustees. As the proud son of immigrant parents who worked in the agricultural fields of Monterey County, Trustee Rojas also spent his school breaks working alongside his family. Those early experiences instilled a strong work ethic and a deep respect for the families and communities the district serves.
Following high school, Trustee Rojas enlisted in the United States Armed Forces before pursuing higher education, earning a degree in Philosophy and Pre-Law. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Psychology, reflecting his belief in lifelong learning and the transformative power of education.
Trustee Rojas is a proud husband and father of three, including a student at Alisal High School. As both a parent and trustee, he understands the hopes families have for their children's future and is committed to supporting opportunities that help every student succeed.
Outside of his Board service, Trustee Rojas enjoys traveling with his family and attending sporting events.
