Registration Information

    • Please bring the following documents for enrollment:
      • Immunization Records
      • Birth Certificate
      • Withdrawal Grades from the previous school (if possible)
      • Transcript from the previous school
      • Proof of  Residency under the Parent/Guardians name (3 current utility bills; such as water, garbage, and/or PG&E)
      • Proof of guardianship if the student is not living with parents
      • Documents of custodial rights (if applicable)
      • Contact the school if you have questions about Salinas High School regarding your address to verify if it pertains to our attendance boundaries (831)796-7400 ext 2918 and ext 2919.

    Note: Once you bring the above documents to the school, you will have to complete the enrollment packet. Some students will also have to take an English placement test prior to getting their schedule.

     Request a Transcript

    • Transcripts for Current Students:

      All official transcripts must be requested from the school registrar 24 hours in advance, prior to processing, by signing in the Request for Transcript Binder Slip. Unofficial transcripts can be received in the Registrar's Office located inside the Counseling Office. Allow approximately two weeks for processing. Current students may request their transcripts before school, during lunch, and/or after school; not during class time.

    • Graduation Verification Requests should be faxed to (831) 796-7405 attention Registrar. Please attach a signed release form from the former student.

    To place a transcript request:
    You are more than welcome to come into the Registrar's Office, located inside the Counseling Office, with the form filled out or you can mail the request order form addressed to “Salinas High School” to 726 South Main Street, Salinas, CA 93901 Attention: Registrar.

    Be sure to include your full name (as it was at the time of enrollment). Date of Birth, last year attended/or graduated and contact information.
    Please allow approximately 2 weeks for processing.

    Ordering a Duplicate Diploma:

    • There is a $35.00 fee that must be in the form of a money order. Once fee is paid, it will take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the diploma. The cost to expedite an order is $60 (processing time is 8-10 business days). Personal checks will not be accepted. 

    • Money orders are to be made out to "Nor/Cal National Recognition Products."

    Withdrawal Information

    Students who wish to withdraw from school for any reason must report to the Registrar’s office, which is located inside of the Counselor Office, accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a Student Withdrawal Form. If you are withdrawing within our District then you must provide 3 current utility bills with the parent/guardian name and the new address.

    Students are required to complete the following:

    • Obtain withdrawal grades from teachers.
    • Return all Textbook and Library books, and Chromebook.
    • Check out at the designated office (i.e. Attendance, Health Office, Textbook Room, Library, Finance Store)

    Once completed, a copy of the withdrawal form, withdrawal grades, and transcript will be provided to the student.
