    Sticks & Stones®
    Sticks & Stones® school-based program is a counseling program for children who have learned to express their feelings in unhealthy ways. The program consists of ten weekly meetings. Students learn healthy ways to express their feelings and are taught how to stay safe.

    Monterey County Behavioral Health 
    School-based mental health services. Target Population: Seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth who are in or at risk of out of home placement or who are qualified under special education.

    8th Grade Program Fall Semester 

    Will Power/Won’t Power
    A series of workshops for girls 12 to 14 years old teaching assertive communication, forming healthy relationships, avoiding risky situations, and learning about teen health. Meets once a week, for 10 weeks, after school on school grounds.

    7th Grade Program Spring Semester 

    Friendly PEERsuasion
    A two-phase substance abuse education program for middle school girls, which also prepares them to become facilitators of workshops on this subject for elementary school children. This program approaches drug abuse prevention as a peer issue, using the positive influence of young people modeling healthy behaviors. Meets once a week, after school on school grounds.

    Summer Camp
    Smart Choices is a summer program for girls entering high school. It inspires girls to make positive life choices about school, relationships and health.
