FAFSA or Dream Act

  • File starting October 1st. Priority deadline: March 2nd.

    STEP 2: File either    FAFSA   OR    DreamAct 

    Both applications are used by current or prospective college students to determine financial aid eligibility. Which one should you file?

    • FAFSA is used for citizens or legal residents. 


    • The California Dream Act application allows undocumented students interested in eligible California colleges, universities, and career educational programs to apply for and receive state based financial aid.
