Welcome to Salinas Union High School District (SUHSD) Human Resources! Our mission is to make your employment experience with the our District a pleasant event! The Salinas Union High School District’s (SUHSD) vision is to develop educated learners to the highest standards, preparing them to achieve their life's aspirations and to be productive citizens in a global society.
The Salinas Union High School District (SUHSD) is located in the Salinas Valley in Monterey County, CA. The district’s proximity to one of the most productive agricultural areas of California, and the short distance from Silicon Valley, provides a diverse array of educational and career opportunities to students. The district serves approximately 16,500 students and is comprised of four comprehensive high schools, four comprehensive middle schools, an alternative education center, adult education, career technical education, and other services. SUHSD is the largest school district in Monterey County (by population). The district is also in the process of beginning construction on a fifth high school, with additional planning being conducted for a fifth middle school.
