  • Modified Schedule for STAR Testing Wednesday October 21st

    In order to accommodate administration of the STAR reading test there will be a slightly modified learning schedule on Wednesday, October 21st.

  • College Planning and Financial Aid Workshops

    Join the NSHS Counseling Department for their College Planning and Financial Aid Workshops. Parents and students can choose between any of the four sessions all held on Saturdays from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The sessions are on 10/17, 10/24, 11/14 and 11/21.   • Semester Finals Begin this Week

    Finals for Learning Cycle 1 begin on Wednesday October 7th. The schedule can be seen next to this post or in detail by going to nshs.us/DistanceSchedule. A reminder to all students and families that this is the end of a semester which means any classes that are failed will result in lost credit toward graduation and will need to be retaken.

  • JSA-JSC Salinas Police Dialogue

    The North Salinas High School Junior State of America (JSA) is hosting a dialogue with the Salinas Police to help bridge the divide between police and members of the community in Salinas. Attendees will be able to learn about the experience of officers in our community while expressing their feelings about the larger national conversation about police as well as the reforms they would like to see here in our community. Join us for this student led event on September 29th at 3:30 PM. Attendees must register beforehand by going to http://nshs.us/PoliceDialogueRegister and will be able to join at http://nshs.us/PoliceDialogue
