The Salinas Union High School District will be hosting an Attendance Workshop for parents and guardians on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, at La Paz Middle School. Come learn more about absenteeism, ParentVUE, truancy, and Wellness Centers. There will be childcare, prizes, and refreshments. The Salinas Union High School District will be hosting a COVID and Flu vaccine clinic at North Salinas High School on Saturday, November 5th from 10 am - 1 pm. Visit MyTurn.ca.gov to make an appointment; walk-ins are also welcome based on availability. Minors will need a parent/guardian present or must have an adult present with a signed and dated letter of consent from their parent/guardian.
The NSHS Counseling Department will be hosting their Fall 2022 Parent Night on Wednesday, October 26th. From 3:30 - 5:30 pm, Cap and Gown sales will be available for seniors. Prior to the presentations at 6 pm, grab-and-go food will be provided for families. Presentations will begin at 6 pm in the 300s hallway.
The Counseling Department will be hosting College Planning Workshops on Wednesdays after school, during the months of October and November. These workshops are designed to support current seniors with college and financial aid applications; such as the CSU, UC, CommonApp, Hartnell, FAFSA, CA Dream Act, or any other scholarship applications.
