Athletic Clearance for the 2023-24 year opens May 1, 2023!!!
Don't wait until the last minute to get cleared. If you do, you are going to lose valuable time on the field. Please read EVERYTHING on this site regarding athletic clearance! The "Athletic Eligibility Information for all Grades" dropdown menu under the "Athletics" tab at the top of this page will make this process very easy.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE CLEARED IF YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL THAT WILL EXPIRE BEFORE YOUR SEASON OF SPORT ENDS. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE
ATTENTION ATHLETES
The 2023-24 Sports Season will soon be upon us. It is IMPERATIVE that you do not wait until the last minute to get cleared for your sport. The Athletic Clearance website will be available on June 1, 2023. Follow the easy step by step instructions to save time and frustration. Part of being an athlete at Salinas High School means we do not procrastinate. We will have a deadline to clear for all three seasons this year. The following dates will be strictly adhered to during the 2023-24 sports seasons:
Season First Day Of Practice Deadline to Clear Date to Clear if Deadline Missed
Fall August 4, 2023 July 21, 2023 August 11, 2023
Winter October 30, 2023 October 16, 2023 November 6, 2023
Spring January 29, 2024 January 15, 2024 February 5, 2024
There will be no exceptions to these deadlines.
THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL MISS AT LEAST FOUR DAYS OF VALUABLE PRACTICE IF YOU MISS THE CLEARANCE DEADLINE!
Get on it early and be ready to go on the first day.
